Because I prefer to bump to a stable release.
This is "safer" and release-monitoring.org will warn us when a new
version will be made available by usptream.
For example, it is pretty likely that commit 8bb5820 will raise a
build failure as pkg-config is hard-coded (but I have not tested it to
confirm it).
