Subject: [dm-devel] [PATCH v3 05/21] multipathd: use volatile qualifier for running_state
Date: Fri, 16 Oct 2020 12:43:13 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20201016104329.8337-6-mwilck@suse.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20201016104329.8337-1-mwilck@suse.com>

From: Martin Wilck <mwilck@suse.com>

While we access running_state only under the config_lock,
we sometimes do in a loop. Use the volatile qualifier to make
sure compilers can't optimize away the loads.
