Maybe I'm missing something, but doesn't this boild down to:

tmm_mm_used(type) = (bool) ttm_manager_type(type)

now that all resource managers are explicitly registered? I think there's
nothing else left, your ttm_set_driver_manager essentially replaces
ttm_mm_set_use.
