I have tested this hardware setup again with Mesa 18.2.3, LLVM 7.0.0,
kernel 4.19.0 and piglit from yesterday's git.
These tests no longer crash the GPU but fail anyway with various errors:

Expecting 1021 (0x3fd) with tolerance 0, but got 1 (0x1)
Error at int[0]
Argument 0: FAIL
Expecting 14 (0xe) with tolerance 0, but got 1 (0x1)
... and so for other arguments in this test.
