I wonder how _that_ could have not been found earlier.

Anyway, played for about an hour without crash using:

OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD PITCAIRN (DRM 2.48.0 /
4.9.0-rc8-dirty, LLVM 4.0.0)
OpenGL core profile version string: 4.5 (Core Profile) Mesa 13.1.0-devel
(git-31f988a9d6).

Will try to crash it again tomorrow, but looks promising.
