Right now, it looks like --merge is equivalent to --no-ff, which seems silly, since we already have an option for that. So my request is that you add an option (command-line and configuration) that maintains the current behavior, or if there's already such an option, that the documentation be clear enough so that I can figure it out. Because right now, it's not. --=20 brian m. carlson / brian with sandals: Houston, Texas, US +1 832 623 2791 | http://www.crustytoothpaste.net/~bmc | My opinion only OpenPGP: RSA v4 4096b: 88AC E9B2 9196 305B A994 7552 F1BA 225C 0223 B187 --s5/bjXLgkIwAv6Hi Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iQIcBAEBCgAGBQJTY/LiAAoJEL9TXYEfUvaLEVIP/iPZ6k3JmDGbyI4fawCU+gBF QyBICWzze49G3mMnm8437X1zMltS+hKxnLTADRcvHJLmbWdRNq8S+X+N4xW5alfi wyMbwiDFv5/rjYbXStpt75ulww9t6xFbH4v494dnQHGOEUEi0mN2LKsV0t72CSb3 TWHfdQa8l3laXhKswqpV2pKaIWec5RP49K9kAuteLy2ivqhAjY/5UN8v5emIIl7C XiVqvT87IoCW5cpn8AgawH0r2ObcTwtef0VWGXo8lOgLrLN80Je5EtBY1mQzZz6S uikhOfUMGqzHQc5Azdl/Y5qmPBD3c8T+T+wiwJX2rlR1sTFb7F0NBSHm9znN5jwj paEjzoXT83Hkm7mKlONAZam3PB8DNbKOXWqkOhfr734EW9Q8z4h+QG6+/3d5AgPI 1IBxCyxypWUB+17zLRV323dKrqGOKJ7EReHExEEOIz89jMEabmwz7spQycoBdh0x BtUbFMk5ZPbUVgYjHGO7RvCpqB8qmRDLyCo07+CpEnDlFyxNKyLQiDD0TD1wh6l4 h3iOo/zwIuhuq3FuMMEmo4IcaAJIlDpbWa2z7U8BcBKqNoq7aAWwbfWsorh7Te/p aqqCQQoEAYzBLgZ8l9iC+qeDIyHl3B0xsKOHoXJAg/jLRE23atXa9i9jVTWzA1uy DE7FQ+nlkbwfU6fU4nuZ =fJ3o -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --s5/bjXLgkIwAv6Hi--
