Subject: Problem with empty lines in .git-credentials
Date: Sat, 25 Apr 2020 17:31:10 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <ad80aa0d-3a35-6d7e-7958-b3520e16c855@ed4u.de> (raw)
Hello everybody,
I am using latest ubuntu patch git 1:2.17.1-1ubuntu0.7:
It seems empty lines in .git-credentials files are now misinterpreted as
bad urls. Removing an empty line in this file removed the problem for me
(see my answer in https://stackoverflow.com/a/61420852/5005936).
Maybe you should review one of the latest patches. I propose to ignore empty
lines or maybe also ignore comment lines starting with #.
Thank you very much
Dirk
