From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Marc Zyngier Subject: [PATCH v3 17/59] irqchip/gic-v3-its: Add VLPI map/unmap operations Date: Mon, 31 Jul 2017 18:25:55 +0100 Message-ID: <20170731172637.29355-18-marc.zyngier@arm.com> References: <20170731172637.29355-1-marc.zyngier@arm.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Cc: Jason Cooper , Thomas Gleixner To: linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org, linux-arm-kernel@lists.infradead.org, kvmarm@lists.cs.columbia.edu, kvm@vger.kernel.org Return-path: In-Reply-To: <20170731172637.29355-1-marc.zyngier@arm.com> List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , Errors-To: kvmarm-bounces@lists.cs.columbia.edu Sender: kvmarm-bounces@lists.cs.columbia.edu List-Id: kvm.vger.kernel.org In order to let a VLPI being injected into a guest, the VLPI must be mapped using the VMAPTI command. When moved to a different vcpu, it must be moved with the VMOVI command. These commands are issued via the irq_set_vcpu_affinity method, making sure we unmap the corresponding host LPI first. The reverse is also done when the VLPI is unmapped from the guest.
