Subject: [PATCH v4 07/30] x86: Avoid references to fields of ACPI tables
Date: Mon, 13 Feb 2023 10:17:36 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20230213101759.2577077-8-nikos.nikoleris@arm.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20230213101759.2577077-1-nikos.nikoleris@arm.com>

ACPI table definitions in <acpi.h> have to be packed. However, once
we do that, direct references to members of the packed struct might
result in unaligned pointers and gcc complains about them. This change
modifies the code to avoid such references in preparation for making
the APCI table definitions packed.
