Subject: [PATCH 13/24] acpi: Ignore acpi_rsdp kernel param when the kernel has been locked down
Date: Wed, 11 Apr 2018 17:26:04 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <152346396411.4030.4824200967123540129.stgit@warthog.procyon.org.uk> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <152346387861.4030.4408662483445703127.stgit@warthog.procyon.org.uk>
From: Josh Boyer <jwboyer@redhat.com>
This option allows userspace to pass the RSDP address to the kernel, which
makes it possible for a user to modify the workings of hardware . Reject
the option when the kernel is locked down.
