Subject: [PATCH v5 10/36] vmlinux.lds.h: Avoid KASAN and KCSAN's unwanted sections
Date: Fri, 31 Jul 2020 16:07:54 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20200731230820.1742553-11-keescook@chromium.org> (raw)
Message-ID: <20200731230754.8g0_m8ZAxGHYo6CGAZdnTKfB1XJsE7S0JfHNc1Wlkcc@z> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20200731230820.1742553-1-keescook@chromium.org>
KASAN (-fsanitize=kernel-address) and KCSAN (-fsanitize=thread)
produce unwanted[1] .eh_frame and .init_array.* sections. Add them to
COMMON_DISCARDS, except with CONFIG_CONSTRUCTORS, which wants to keep
.init_array.* sections.
