Subject: [PATCH 02/10] arm64: cpufeature: Don't enforce system-wide SPE capability
Date: Fri, 27 Jan 2017 18:07:41 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1485540470-11469-3-git-send-email-will.deacon@arm.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1485540470-11469-1-git-send-email-will.deacon@arm.com>

The statistical profiling extension (SPE) is an optional feature of
ARMv8.1 and is unlikely to be supported by all of the CPUs in a
heterogeneous system.

This patch updates the cpufeature checks so that such systems are not
tainted as unsupported.
