Subject: [patch 58/86] vhost, kcov: collect coverage from vhost_worker
Date: Wed, 04 Dec 2019 16:52:50 -0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20191205005250.pnmhp1uUd%akpm@linux-foundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20191204164858.fe4ed8886e34ad9f3b34ea00@linux-foundation.org>

From: Andrey Konovalov <andreyknvl@google.com>
Subject: vhost, kcov: collect coverage from vhost_worker

Add kcov_remote_start()/kcov_remote_stop() annotations to the
vhost_worker() function, which is responsible for processing vhost works.
Since vhost_worker() threads are spawned per vhost device instance the
common kcov handle is used for kcov_remote_start()/stop() annotations (see
Documentation/dev-tools/kcov.rst for details). As the result kcov can now
be used to collect coverage from vhost worker threads.
