Subject: linux-next: manual merge of the drm tree with the drm-intel-fixes tree
Date: Thu, 30 Mar 2017 12:14:07 +1100
Message-ID: <20170330121407.14d9d1e1@canb.auug.org.au> (raw)

Hi Dave,

Today's linux-next merge of the drm tree got a conflict in:

  drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_ringbuffer.h

between commit:

dd68f2ba0720 ("drm/i915/execlists: Wrap tail pointer after reset tweaking")

from the drm-intel-fixes tree and commit:

73dec95e6ba3 ("drm/i915: Emit to ringbuffer directly")

from the drm tree.

I fixed it up (see below) and can carry the fix as necessary. This
is now fixed as far as linux-next is concerned, but any non trivial
conflicts should be mentioned to your upstream maintainer when your tree
is submitted for merging. You may also want to consider cooperating
with the maintainer of the conflicting tree to minimise any particularly
complex conflicts.
