Yes, I decided to rebase the branch in order to have it clean from build
breakages. Lemme add my SOB to all the commits which got their SHA1s
changed in the process.

Thx.

Hi Stephen,

The original posted patch had author's 'Signed-off-by'. Seems like the tip
extraction have cut out portions of the commit message as well, apart from
just dropping the "Signed-off-by" :) We should keep the commit message in
the original form. Could you please fix that ?

Original patch: https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/20220824044822.70230-2-anshuman.khandual@arm.com/
Tip extraction: https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/166155215090.401.870330359879147742.tip-bot2@tip-bot2/

Script fail on my side: a new script of mine handling the tip:master merge
tree didn't handle fast-forward merges particularly well.

I've fixed it via --no-ff & re-spun the -next branch. There's no difference
in the resulting kernel source tree.

Thanks,

	Ingo

Hello,

I'm the author of that commit and the missing Signed-off-by is not intentional but
due to a mistake I made. I used the string "------------" in the commit message and
git interpreted it as "drop everything from here onwards", including the
Signed-off-by.

According to the maintainer's preference, I agree to either them adding

  Signed-off-by: Giovanni Gherdovich <ggherdovich@suse.cz>

or to resend them the patch with a better commit message if they prefer.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
Giovanni Gherdovich

Hi all,

Commit

  f080d93e1d41 ("sched/debug: Fix trival print_task() format")

is missing a Signed-off-by from its author.

Also, there should be a blank line before the commit message tags
(it actually looks like the end of the commit message got truncated -
probably by leading dahses on a line).

It's a partial cherry-pick of 32d0b95300db03c - I've updated the changelog and
fixed the SOB line.

It's possible its author and committer were both changed by the

Yes. That's from the PTI work in progress branch. It was high flux so we
did not care much about those details and the patches went back and forth

commit 0b44cfb8e40f64cd72520be223414a7ef79c5d90
Author: Ingo Molnar <mingo@kernel.org>
AuthorDate: Sat Nov 18 09:00:46 2017 +0100
Commit: Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo <acme@redhat.com>
CommitDate: Tue Nov 28 14:29:05 2017 -0300

tools/headers: Synchronize kernel x86 UAPI headers

Two x86 headers got modified in this merge window:

     arch/x86/include/asm/cpufeatures.h
     arch/x86/include/asm/disabled-features.h

To support x86 UMIP feature, to add new AVX instructions, plus
cleanups.

None of those changes have an effect on tooling, so do a plain copy.
