Subject: [PATCH v3 07/10] lib/memregion: Uplevel the pmem "region" ida to a global allocator
Date: Fri, 07 Jun 2019 12:27:50 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <155993567002.3036719.5748845658364934737.stgit@dwillia2-desk3.amr.corp.intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <155993563277.3036719.17400338098057706494.stgit@dwillia2-desk3.amr.corp.intel.com>

In preparation for handling platform differentiated memory types beyond
persistent memory, uplevel the "region" identifier to a global number
space. This enables a device-dax instance to be registered to any memory
type with guaranteed unique names.
