Subject: [Patch Part3 V1 13/22] iommu/vt-d: search _DSM method for DMAR hotplug
Date: Tue, 22 Apr 2014 15:07:24 +0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1398150453-28141-14-git-send-email-jiang.liu@linux.intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1398150453-28141-1-git-send-email-jiang.liu@linux.intel.com>

According to Intel VT-d specification, _DSM method to support DMAR
hotplug should exist directly under corresponding ACPI object
representing PCI host bridge. But some BIOSes doesn't conform to
this, so search for _DSM method in the subtree starting from the
ACPI object representing the PCI host bridge.
