I had taken the patch, but I've since dropped it (it had only made it to
my wip/dl-for-rc branch).  I'll wait for the proper fix (I looked, and I
could code it up, but I don't know what tests to use in the conditionals
since I don't know how you track peer2peer mode on the connection).
