Subject: [PATCH v5 3/3] drivers: dma: sh: Add DMAC driver for RZ/G2L SoC
Date: Thu, 29 Jul 2021 09:25:20 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20210729082520.26186-4-biju.das.jz@bp.renesas.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20210729082520.26186-1-biju.das.jz@bp.renesas.com>

Add DMA Controller driver for RZ/G2L SoC.

Based on the work done by Chris Brandt for RZ/A DMA driver.

v4->v5:
  * Passing legacy slave channel configuration parameter using dmaengine_slave_config is prohibited
    so passing this parameters(TM,ACK,LVL,HIEN) through DT instead.
  * Other parameters like source(SDS) and destination(DDS) data size is derived from slave_config
  * Introduced an api for mapping dma_slave_buswidth to SoC register value.
  * Request direction(REQD) from transaction properties.
  * Updated the driver header RZ/G2L Controller Driver -> RZ/G2L DMA Controller Driver.
  * Removed unused field 'valid' from lmdesc.
v3->v4:
  * Incorporated Vinod and Geert's review comments.
v2->v3:
  * No change
v1->v2:
  * Started using virtual DMAC.
