Subject: [PATCH 1/4] trace-cmd: Add new libtracefs API tracefs_instance_file_append()
Date: Mon, 17 Feb 2020 19:39:56 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20200217173959.385278-2-tz.stoyanov@gmail.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20200217173959.385278-1-tz.stoyanov@gmail.com>

The existing tracefs_instance_file_write() API truncates the file before writing to it.
The are use cases where the file must not be truncated. The new
  tracefs_instance_file_append()
API appends to the end of the file.
