Subject: [PATCH] powerpc/kernel/sysfs: disable writing to purr in non-powernv
Date: Fri, 27 Sep 2013 13:32:06 +0530	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1380268926-21338-1-git-send-email-maddy@linux.vnet.ibm.com> (raw)

powerpc/kernel/sysfs.c exports purr with write permission.
This may be valid for powernv kernel since purr is Hyp resource.
But writing to the file in PowerVM lpar causes crash.

# echo 0 > purr
