To: linux-kernel, akpm, torvalds, stable; +Cc: lwn, jslaby, Greg Kroah-Hartman

I'm announcing the release of the 5.9.16 kernel.

All users of the 5.9 kernel series must upgrade.

NOTE, this is the LAST 5.9.y kernel to be released unless something
really odd happens. Please move to 5.10.y at this point in time, the
5.9.y branch is now end-of-life.

The updated 5.9.y git tree can be found at:
	git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git linux-5.9.y
and can be browsed at the normal kernel.org git web browser:
	https://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git;a=summary

thanks,

greg k-h
