What compiler did you use, and when was the last time you did a
'mrproper' or 'distclean' in your tree or changed CONFIG_MODVERSIONS?
Two of the errors have modversions-type bits on them.

The errors are still there in 2.4.20-pre8 and none of them went away
after make mrproper.

gcc 2.95.4 prerelease (up-to-date debian unstable). Tried make mrproper,
it didn't help. Also I have never changed modverson settings since first
configuration but this probably doen not matter since mrproper didn't
help.

The computer is a PowerMac 7300 with G3 upgrade.

Thanks for the .config, I see most of them now.

CONFIG_NVRAM cannot really be =m as you have in your .config on
CONFIG_ALL_PPC. I'll send Marcelo a bit more Makefile gunk to work
around this. For now just set it to y.

This driver is doing floating point operations inside the kernel, and is
therefore broken.

Configuration issue. CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_ISD200 needs to depend on
CONFIG_IDE, since it calls ide_fixup_driveid(). Greg? Björn?

This is only an issue for PPC and SPARC64. Other targets have an empty macro for ide_fix_driveid().

I don't know how this kind of "target-dependent dependency" is normally handled. The attached patch is one way.
