How about:

   #define if_pci(tokens...) tokens

   int pnp_add_irq_resource(struct pnp_dev *dev, int depnum, struct pnp_irq *data)
   {
	if_pci(int i);
	...
   }

Admittedly uglier than just having the warning disabled by default.
