Hi,
I've been playing with ACPI and software suspend.

I have an AthlonXP on a KT333 motherboard. Kernel UP with preemption.

S3 doesn't work with FB (well, I  can suspend the machine but the screen
isn't restored on resume. I can blindly  login and reboot) but I read on
fbdev that this is a WIP.  Without FB the system goes to sleep with some
warnings (we call local_bh_enable with interrupts disabled):

I'm a bit  worried about these MCEs, but the  machine seems stable after
resume (btw,  I remeber that Alan  once posted a MCE  decoder, but can't
find it - any clue?).

S4  suspends fine,  but  it seems  that it  doesn't  like preemption  on
resume:
