IGMPv3 Host implementation for kernel 2.2.x

Is there IGMPv3 host implementation for linux kernel
2.2.x ? (Am running version 2.2.16-22)
If yes, Kindly let me know from where can I download
the patches.

    Does 2.6 has igmpv3 host stack ? if not, which
version of kernel (stable) currently available
supports IGMPv3 host stack ?

You are referring to RFC 2236/3376 ?

The 2.6 has it, while 2.4 does not.
Back-portting is possible.

Yes, esp. Host part of RFC 3376 and Socket

I guess to write applications making use of the
multicast source filters, I need to also upgrade Glibc
?

False, Marcelo's current 2.4.x sources has the
igmpv3 code in it.
