Just to provide a data point, this is a biostar board and gkrellm 
displays the cmos battery voltage as 3.14 volts right now, booted to 
2.6.15.

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules.  I do use spamassassin too. :-)
