Subject: [patch 14/40] x86: perf: Convert the core to the hotplug state machine
Date: Thu, 31 Jan 2013 12:11:23 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20130131120742.443111856@linutronix.de> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20130131120348.372374706@linutronix.de

[-- Attachment #1: cpuhotplug-x86-perf-core-convert.patch --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 5383 bytes --]

Replace the perf_notifier() install mechanism, which invokes magically
the callback on the current cpu. Convert the hardware specific
callbacks which are invoked from the x86 perf core to return proper
error codes instead of totally pointless NOTIFY_BAD return values.
