Subject: [REQ]: 'perf probe --del *:*' should remove both uprobes and kprobes
Date: Mon, 30 Mar 2015 17:12:48 -0300 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20150330201248.GA9116@kernel.org> (raw)
How it is now:
[root@ssdandy acme]# perf probe --del *:*
Removed event: probe:icmp_rcv
[root@ssdandy acme]# perf probe --del *:*
Removed event: probe_ex:main
[root@ssdandy acme]# perf probe --del *:*
Info: Event "*:*" does not exist.
Error: Failed to delete events.
[root@ssdandy
I.e. it'll first remove all kprobes, then bail out, next time we ask for
everything to be deleted, there are no kprobes, so it will try the
uprobes, removing it all, I think it should not be a two step process
:-)
