Subject: [PATCH 3.18 08/22] Input: trackpoint - add new trackpoint firmware ID
Date: Mon, 28 Aug 2017 10:05:52 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20170828080454.151788995@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20170828080453.804109196@linuxfoundation.org>
3.18-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.
------------------
From: Aaron Ma <aaron.ma@canonical.com>
commit ec667683c532c93fb41e100e5d61a518971060e2 upstream.
Synaptics add new TP firmware ID: 0x2 and 0x3, for now both lower 2 bits
are indicated as TP. Change the constant to bitwise values.
This makes trackpoint to be recognized on Lenovo Carbon X1 Gen5 instead
of it being identified as "PS/2 Generic Mouse".
