Subject: [PATCH 4.4 22/43] x86/cpufeature: Carve out X86_FEATURE_*
Date: Mon, 16 Jul 2018 09:36:27 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20180716073514.279884979@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20180716073511.796555857@linuxfoundation.org>

4.4-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.

------------------

From: Borislav Petkov <bp@suse.de>

commit cd4d09ec6f6c12a2cc3db5b7d8876a325a53545b upstream

Move them to a separate header and have the following
dependency:

  x86/cpufeatures.h <- x86/processor.h <- x86/cpufeature.h

This makes it easier to use the header in asm code and not
include the whole cpufeature.h and add guards for asm.
