I'm currently porting to 2.4.7+ a half proprietary driver (for
PCTel modems), which it use a modified version of serial.c. I know, i
can't
expect too many help with closed source things (i haven't sources),
but it was working on 2.4.5 with old serial.c, it continue to work with
some
modems on >= 2.4.7 (i resynced to hacked serial.c with the serial.c from
2.4.7 (5.05c) kernel), but oops with some others.

Anyway, many thanks.

Cheers.
