Umm, this feature is used like this:

hold mmu_lock
increase sp->active_count
release mmu_lock
......
hold mmu_lock
increase sp->active_count
if (!sp->active_count && sp->invalid)
	kvm_mmu_free_page(sp);
......
release mmu_lock
