Sorry, I cannot confirm
no errors reported during the build but there are minor issues with
the packages produced by "make rpm" that I have not been able to deal
with

rpm -ivh --test kernel-3.8.0_rc2+-1.x86_64.rpm
file /lib/modules from install of kernel-3.8.0_rc2+-1.x86_64 conflicts
with file from package filesystem-3.1-2.fc18.x86_64

rpmbuild --rebuild kernel-3.8.0_rc2+-1.src.rpm

+ cp /home/rpmbuilder/rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/kernel-3.8.0_rc2+-1.x86_64/boot/vmlinuz-3.8.0-rc2+
cp: missing destination file operand after
'/home/rpmbuilder/rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/kernel-3.8.0_rc2+-1.x86_64/boot/vmlinuz-3.8.0-rc2+'
Try 'cp --help' for more information.
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.HlvpWU (%install)
