So a week has passed, and rc2 is tagged and pushed out.

Things look pretty normal: rc2 tends to be fairly quiet as people
start finding issues, and while 5.13 looks to be a pretty big release
over-all, the changes in rc2 are if anything slightly smaller than
average. But it's well within the noise.

The fixes here are all over the place - drivers, arch updates,
documentation, tooling.. Nothing particularly stands out, although a
fix for some VGA text-mode font size issues is funny (as in "strange",
not "ha-ha funny") just because so few people presumably use the
extended SVGA text modes any more. That's not recent breakage either.

The appended shortlog shows the details.

Hmm. That commit actually made it into rc2. We're talking about that
commit bb4031b8af80 ("clk: Skip clk provider registration when np is
NULL"), aren't we?

That's the patch that you reported fixed it for you.

And it got merged by me (commit 28183dbf54ed: "Merge tag
'driver-core-5.13-rc2' .."), and is part of rc2.

So if rc2 still has some raspi2 failures, there's something else going on..

Strange. Mind double-checking?

Huh. I must have had a severe lack of coffee this morning. This is the correct
test result for v5.13-rc2:

Build results:
	total: 151 pass: 151 fail: 0
Qemu test results:
	total: 462 pass: 462 fail: 0

Ok, good. You had me worried there for a minute.
