Message-ID: <20200301045151.y031NjJQr%akpm@linux-foundation.org> (raw)

The patch titled
Subject: mm/vma: make is_vma_temporary_stack() available for general use
has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is
     mm-vma-make-is_vma_temporary_stack-available-for-general-use.patch

This patch should soon appear at
    http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmots/broken-out/mm-vma-make-is_vma_temporary_stack-available-for-general-use.patch
and later at
    http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmotm/broken-out/mm-vma-make-is_vma_temporary_stack-available-for-general-use.patch

Before you just go and hit "reply", please:
   a) Consider who else should be cc'ed
   b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well
   c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a
reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's

*** Remember to use Documentation/process/submit-checklist.rst when testing your code ***

The -mm tree is included into linux-next and is updated
there every 3-4 working days

Subject: mm/vma: make is_vma_temporary_stack() available for general use

Currently the declaration and definition for is_vma_temporary_stack() are
scattered. Lets make is_vma_temporary_stack() helper available for
general use and also drop the declaration from (include/linux/huge_mm.h)
which is no longer required. While at this, rename this as
vma_is_temporary_stack() in line with existing helpers. This should not
cause any functional change.
