Subject: [PATCH v2 4/4] mptsas: ask for deferred probe
Date: Mon, 28 Jul 2014 11:28:30 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1406572110-26823-5-git-send-email-mcgrof@do-not-panic.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1406572110-26823-1-git-send-email-mcgrof@do-not-panic.com>
From: "Luis R. Rodriguez" <mcgrof@suse.com>
Its reported that mptsas can at times take over 30 seconds
to recognize SCSI storage devices [0], this is done on the
driver's probe path. Use the the deferred probe workqueue
to allow long init sequences to complete.
