Currently several places are calling input_mt_report_slot_state()
like following:

input_mt_report_slot_state(dev, tool_type, active)
if (active) {
    ...
    < report events for active slot >
}

when 'active' is false, input_mt_report_slot_state() will always
return false, so instead of checking 'active', switch to use
return value of input_mt_report_slot_state()
