Subject: [Backport for 4.19.y PATCH 1/4] ARM: OMAP: replace setup_irq() by request_irq()
Date: Fri,  9 Jul 2021 10:37:42 +0300	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20210709073745.13916-1-tony@atomide.com> (raw)

From: afzal mohammed <afzal.mohd.ma@gmail.com>

commit b75ca5217743e4d7076cf65e044e88389e44318d upstream.

request_irq() is preferred over setup_irq(). Invocations of setup_irq()
occur after memory allocators are ready.

Per tglx[1], setup_irq() existed in olden days when allocators were not
ready by the time early interrupts were initialized.

Hence replace setup_irq() by request_irq().
