Subject: [Qemu-devel] [PULL 25/49] ipmi: add ACPI power and GUID commands
Date: Thu, 4 Feb 2016 23:52:39 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1454612376-7072-26-git-send-email-mst@redhat.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1454612376-7072-1-git-send-email-mst@redhat.com>
From: Cédric Le Goater <clg@fr.ibm.com>
>From the specs (20.8 Get Device GUID Command), the command needs to
return a GUID (Globally Unique ID), or UUID, that should never change
over the lifetime of the device. qemu_uuid looked like a good
candidate to start with but we could use a specific BMC property also
if needed.
