Subject: [PATCH v3 05/11] nfit/libnvdimm: add set passphrase support for Intel nvdimms
Date: Wed, 11 Jul 2018 15:34:16 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <153134845654.41955.14211269423749254776.stgit@djiang5-desk3.ch.intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <153134823290.41955.817023337662647245.stgit@djiang5-desk3.ch.intel.com>

Add support for setting and/or updating passphrase on the Intel nvdimms.
The passphrase is pulled from userspace through the kernel key management.
We trigger the update via writing "update" to the sysfs attribute
"security". The state of the security can also be read via the "security"
attribute. libnvdimm will generically support the key_change API call.

Subject: [PATCH v3 05/11] nfit/libnvdimm: add set passphrase support for Intel nvdimms
Date: Wed, 11 Jul 2018 22:34:16 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <153134845654.41955.14211269423749254776.stgit@djiang5-desk3.ch.intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <153134823290.41955.817023337662647245.stgit@djiang5-desk3.ch.intel.com>

Add support for setting and/or updating passphrase on the Intel nvdimms.
The passphrase is pulled from userspace through the kernel key management.
We trigger the update via writing "update" to the sysfs attribute
"security". The state of the security can also be read via the "security"
attribute. libnvdimm will generically support the key_change API call.
