Subject: [PATCH 01/18] xfsprogs: enable sparse checking with "make C=[12]"
Date: Wed, 10 Oct 2018 15:01:05 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1539201682-22198-2-git-send-email-sandeen@redhat.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1539201682-22198-1-git-send-email-sandeen@redhat.com>

Enable "make C=1" or "make C=2" to do sparse checking.
Blatantly ripped off from djwong's patch in e2fsprogs to do the same.

This is a bit simpler than redefining CC for the whole build, which
requires extra commandline definitions and apparently is enough of a
barrier that nobody's doing sparse checking.

Note, this requires unreleased sparse after v0.5, which enables the
CHAR_BIT definition; otherwise it chokes.
