Subject: patch "sh: no need to check return value of debugfs_create functions" added to driver-core-next
Date: Mon, 03 Jun 2019 18:05:50 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <155958515020779@kroah.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <155956925917149@kroah.com>

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

sh: no need to check return value of debugfs_create functions

to my driver-core git tree which can be found at
    git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/driver-core.git
in the driver-core-next branch.

The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)

The patch will also be merged in the next major kernel release
during the merge window.

If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: sh: no need to check return value of debugfs_create functions

When calling debugfs functions, there is no need to ever check the
return value. The function can work or not, but the code logic should
never do something different based on this.
