Subject: [PATCH v10 12/21] virt: geniezone: Add ioeventfd support
Date: Fri, 12 Apr 2024 14:57:09 +0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20240412065718.29105-13-yi-de.wu@mediatek.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20240412065718.29105-1-yi-de.wu@mediatek.com>

From: "Yingshiuan Pan" <yingshiuan.pan@mediatek.com>

Ioeventfd leverages eventfd to provide asynchronous notification
mechanism for VMM. VMM can register a mmio address and bind with an
eventfd. Once a mmio trap occurs on this registered region, its
corresponding eventfd will be notified.

Ioeventfd leverages eventfd to provide asynchronous notification
mechanism for VMM. VMM can register a mmio address and bind with an
eventfd. Once a mmio trap occurs on this registered region, its
corresponding eventfd will be notified.
