I am interested in working on the project "QEMU xen-blkback performance
analysis
and improvements".

I am enrolled at

program in the field Computer Science
at Warsaw University of Technology(Poland), The Faculty of Electronics
and Information Technology.

I would like to ask you to be my mentor

and at the beginning for an idea of
a bite-size task to

gain inside of
​ ​
the process of communication on the list and
submitting
​ ​
a patch.

Paulina,
Roger was on vacation last week. He is back now. Given that most of our possible applicants, started to engage with the project very late, I will investigate what the best way forward is

Hello Paulina,

Sorry for the delay, I was away last week and I'm just trying to catch up 
with all my email.

As a first step you should look into installing latest Xen from source on
your prefered Linux distribution, we have a wiki page that should help 
you in doing this: http://wiki.xenproject.org/wiki/Compiling_Xen_From_Source.

You should use the code from the git repository, either the staging or 
master branches should be fine (staging might be a bit unstable, so I 
would recommend starting with master).

In the meantime I will try to search for some bit-sized contributions.

     My name is Anamika Das and I am in my final year of  M.E. Computer
Science postgraduate student from BITS Pilani Hyderabad, India. My
proficiency revolves around the areas of  C/C++, C#.
     I have successfully completed my project with Digital India with
collaboration of Microsoft (India).
     I would love to contribute to the Outreachy 2016. I have seen the
project ideas on your organization page- XenProject, Projects- *Add PVH
mode support to OVMF and QEMU xen*. It would be great if you could mentor
me to further understand the intricacies of the projects.With the help of
my resume, if you could guide me for the selection of the project. If there
is any dedicated task then I would like to get the details. I am sending my
resume attached.

I'm sorry but this project is already under development and is no longer 
available to OPW students. Please see the following thread if you want more
