Build never finishes [with log, error found]

Upon trying to build a new core-image-minimal for raspberrypi-4 with gatesgarth, the build never finishes, however, the server idles after some hours.
/home/user/yocto/poky/build-toaster-2/toaster_ui.log shows following errors / seems like a part of the build process crashed:

How to fix this?

Reason for this error was that "Merged Toaster settings" was switched ON in this project.
With this setting switched off, it worked.
