Subject: [RFC][PATCH 06/19] tracing: Rename ftrace_event_file to trace_event_file
Date: Thu, 14 May 2015 11:13:21 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20150514151918.627674504@goodmis.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20150514151315.746637810@goodmis.org

[-- Attachment #1: 0006-tracing-Rename-ftrace_event_file-to-trace_event_file.patch --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 52410 bytes --]

From: "Steven Rostedt (Red Hat)" <rostedt@goodmis.org>

The name "ftrace" really refers to the function hook infrastructure. It
is not about the trace_events. The structure ftrace_event_file is really
about trace events and not "ftrace". Rename it to trace_event_file.
