            Bug ID: 283
           Summary: BPF: array ins_chk is missing an entry
           Product: DPDK
           Version: 19.08
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: CONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: other
          Assignee: dev@dpdk.org
          Reporter: michel@digirati.com.br
  Target Milestone: ---

Array ins_chk in lib/librte_bpf/bpf_validate.c has UINT8_MAX (= 255) entries;
it should be 256. So the instruction 255 is reading after the array.

I have not found this bug in my tests. I came across it while reading the code
to understand how to use libbpf in my code.
