Hi,
I found a problem with Samsung SSD 840, I reproduced the problem with
mainline kernel versions 3.12.x -> 3.16-rc5
I filled this report, please let me know if I can help providing more
informations.

[1.] One line summary of the problem:
	Samsung SSD 840 failed to get NCQ Send/Recv Log Emask 0x1 failed to set
xfermode (err_mask=0x40) on upstream kernel >= 3.12

[2.] Full description of the problem/report:

	The disk device is not recognized, neither listed in /proc/scsi/scsi.
	The problem with Samsung SSD 840 Series is reproducible just booting the
system with a kernel >= 3.12, including the latest 3.16-rc5

	When booting the system with mainline kernel > 3.11.x, there is some delay
and are shown repeated errors on screen:
	ata5.00: failed to set xfermode (err_mask=0x40)

	dmesg reports:
	ata5.00: failed to get NCQ Send/Recv Log Emask 0x1
