Hello,
when I try to read EEPROM memory from FT232R chip (USB to serial 
converter), system crash after a seconds.

1) Configuration
ASUS PRIME A320M-K, latest bios version 4801, default settings.
Ubuntu server 19.04 with kernel 5.1.1-050101-generic: 
https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.1.1/

4) Notes
- problem is, when FT232R is connected to USB2.0 port, when is connected 
to USB3 port, this works fine
- another test - same hardware, Debian 9.8 with kernel 4.19 - system 
crash too

You should mention that you're using libusb and the vendor's ftdi
library. Specifically, the kernels ftdi_sio driver is not involved.

logs and traces from xhci could tell more details about what is going on,
This line indicates a URB cancellation issues.

To get xhci traces and logs please do:

Sorry, you are right, I use libftd2xx drivers version 1.4.8: 
https://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm
This driver is compiled with libusb. ftdi_sio is removed before testing 
by command "rmmod ftdi_sio".

I made all as you wrote, but problem is, that the system completely 
freezes and I must power it off.
After power up there is not any logs (header only) in 
/sys/kernel/debug/tracing/trace.

I don't know, if it will be useful, but I made this procedure on USB3 
port. On USB3 is not problem, but I can copy logs. Logs are attached.
Is there any solution, how copy logs, when system is totally frozen?
